Hermione lay bleeding on the grass, holding a hand to the bloody stump that was once Fred Weasley's arm. Fred gazed back at her, begging for some sort of comfort but Hermione couldn't provide it. She had nothing to say. She had for a fleeting moment let herself relax. Let herself believe that Voldermort was dead, and therefore all was to be right in the world. It is Christmas time! Hermione and Harry are at the Burrow for the holidays. Mr and Mrs. Weasley were visiting Charlie in Romania leaving the kids all alone. A blizzard comes along and everyone is stuck at the Burrow longer then expected. How bad can it be when there is snow way out?

After the battle of hogwarts, Hermione & Ron are left walking on eggshells around each other. With their relationship about to crumble any second, Hermione takes solace in the arms of a smitten Fred Weasley, still traumatised from his near death experience. After the Battle of Hogwarts Fred still can't get over George's death. The only one who was by his side was Hermione. They live through terrible and great times then Hermione gets pregnant. Someone strange tries to befriend them again.

Hermione and Fred discover they're soulmates, there's some drama, some very cliche plot lines to start, a bit of Ron bashing, and a happy ending. I love Ron, but he's not a good character in this fyi.
