A group of notorious villains plan to use the quirks of 6 hostages to open a portal to another world so they can summon someone more powerful than All Might. Everyone thought they would fail but when the hideout is raided and the villains are arrested they find a boy. Oyama Sanyu is a hero from another world where no one is born with powers and quirks aren't a thing. The fact he has powers at all is kind of a mistake. He's saved the world more times than he can count on one hand and has the scars to prove it. To all the adults in this world though, he's just a traumatized kid. The seasons change along with the year. So much can change in one year. Than why do I feel the same? The only change about me is how further I went from the light. So deeper, and deeper I went into my own darkness, and hidden sorrow. Lying on my back, it almost feels like I'm floating.But I'm not, I'm falling. I don't fight it, I don't willingly let myself go either- or atleast I didn't. Not until everything happened. Now, I just allow the darkness that surrounds me, consume me. But at the same time... I didn't. As if a part of me was cheering it on to come save me from myself. To take me out of here, and help me see. Then that fear came back, and I pushed myself further in. Harper Rye can, to put it simply, read minds. It's not something she consciously does. Her quirk simply allows her to pick up people's thoughts, regardless of whether she wants to or not. The fact that she can't turn it off makes having such a power nearly unbearable. To make matters worse, she's somehow managed to fall under the radar of the super-genius principal of UA high, Nezu. He's sure there's a traitor amongst them, and is convinced Harper is the key to finding them and shutting them down. Plunged into a world she never wanted to be in, Harper finds herself on the fast track to becoming a hero, maybe managing to make some friends for once in her life, and quite possibly saving Japan from near-certain destruction.
