Aisha Howard was almost fifteen when her cousin died.
It was ruled an accident.
Everyone moved on.
Aisha didn't.
As the investigation fades and life returns to normal, Aisha begins to unravel quietly, through hallucinations, fractured memories, and a growing certainty that something inside her has shifted. Her mother watches her too closely. The locks in the house multiply. And the adults around her seem more afraid of what Aisha might be than of what already happened.
This is a psychological descent disguised as a coming-of-age story, one where guilt, control, and love blur until even the reader begins to question what is real, what is justified, and whether Aisha is a victim... or something far more dangerous.
Because something is wrong with Aisha Howard.
The question is: when did it start?
