She lives her simple life with her grandparents and younger sister. She has no memory of her friendship with Naomi and Gabe, or of her relationship with Mateo. In the time line I came up with Elena and Mateo got together back in the season 3. Maybe someday I'll write about that too. After Naomi leaves in the season 3 to sail the ocean Elena starts to feel a little lonely. One day she was wandering around the palace' hallways. She passes the library. The door was ajar. She found Mateo there, scribbling something in the books. ...then her dress suddenly changed color to pink. Elena looked at herself first, then raised her head in confusion. Mateo responded with silence and the same bewilderment.

Sofia invited Elena to spent Halloween with her family. Elena was very excited. Sofia tells her about carving the pumpkins, dressing up as someone and other traditions they do on Halloween. Everything is new to Elena and she gets confused easily. And the atmosphere of the holiday is a bit "threatening"?
