Thousands dead. Maybe more. I stand alone amongst nothing but dust. Ash covers the blank landscape as far as I can see. Nothing but darkness. I walk over to a lake, the only thing that isn't completely black. My heart stops as I peer at what is being reflected back at me. Crimson blood drips down from my hands, the rest of my body surrounded by ash. My once silky hazel hair is now knotted and looks like a nest. But it isn't my hair or blood that scares me. It's my eyes. My eyes that are pitch black, not a speck of white to be seen. They are unhuman. "Arianna," Someone calls.
