After the war, Hermione Granger rebuilds her life quietly: running a small apothecary called Sage at Diagon Alley, healing where she can, and researching impossible cures in the hope of repairing the damage the war left behind. Draco Malfoy, now a single father determined to break the legacy he inherited, is doing his best to raise Scorpius and stay far from the remnants of his past as an auror in France.
But when a long-buried blood curse resurfaces, Scorpius becomes its next target. Meanwhile, scattered whispers of Antonin Dolohov's return begin to stir in Britain, pulling dark forces out of dormancy and threatening to reignite a war that never fully died: it's time for the Malfoys to come back home.
Driven together by necessity, Hermione and Draco enter a reluctant partnership to decipher the curse, develop a cure, and protect the boy caught at the heart of it. What begins as obligation becomes trust; what begins as fear becomes tenderness; what begins as survival slowly, inevitably, becomes love.
A slow burn Dramione about healing, second chances, found family, dangerous research, and the quiet miracle of choosing someone even when the world tries to tear you back into who you used to be.

Hi everyone! I'm a longtime Dramione fan and this is my first fic, written with lots of love, too many cups of coffee, and the unhinged passion of someone who fell down the "what if Draco actually healed?" rabbit hole and never came back. It was part of my personal healing experience, and helped me to go through the grieving of my 16 year old dog while feeling love and creativity.
I'm absolutely open to suggestions, thoughts, theories, or gentle screaming. And yes, I also adore compliments, they fuel my quill. Feel totally free to leave a comment, even a short one! Hearing what you're loving helps me more than you know.
