Suzume grew up playing volleyball with her brother. She was right-handed, but after being so inspired by her brother, she was determined to make herself just like him. After ruthless hours of training relentlessly, she managed to achieve a higher level of volleyball and has climbed the ranks to now be one of the best high school power spikers in the nation. She had attended Shiratorizawa all her life, however after things blow up with her volleyball team at the end of her first year, she decides that she can't stay there any longer.
