After Callie goes missing (AGAIN), it's up to Marie and the other agents of the new (new) squidbeak Splatoon have to work together to rescue Callie from the tight grips of the octarian army, but after a sudden incident that leaves one of the agents struggling to cope and one left crippled, will they be able to rescue Callie or will they fail.

Sequel to "Did you know you're my hero?" Anyone who knew Eight well knew several things by heart: one, she was incredibly timid. Two, she had her memories taken in the metro and was too traumatized by her time there that she hadn't bothered with getting them all back. Three, she had a veritable BOATLOAD of PTSD. Scratch that, make it a TRAINLOAD. There was more than that worth knowing, but that was a good rundown for new friends. But whatever, she had plenty of understanding friends! Cuttlefish was always willing to lend his shoulder and his jacket to cry on, Off the Hook were practically her moms at this point, and now she had Three! Well, she liked to think she always had Three as a comfort, but it was different now! Closer! There was still a lot about herself she didn't know...but at the end of the day, she knew one thing for certain. If whoever she used to be was someone Three felt comfortable pointing a gun at? She was fine with not being them anymore.

Agent 8 was scared of just about everything. Loud noises, sudden movements, anyone significantly bigger than her, any and all ink bombs, anything pointing a weapon at her, C.Q. Cumber, and that was just the tip of the iceberg. Who could blame her really? After what she'd been through? So it's no small surprise when Agent 3 discovers that she isn't on that extensive list.

Years before the events of Splatoon 1, 14-year-old Callie and Marie are struggling through high school life as they attempt to get their music career afloat. But when Cap'n Cuttlefish comes to them with an urgent mission involving the Great Zapfish, their lives are turned upside down forever, and their relationship as "Squid Sisters" will be tested.

This story is based on the time of Splatoon 2 only from Callies perspective. That's all I can think to wright for this story.

Marie has been having nightmares. She wants to tell Callie but she doesn't want her to worry about her. When Marie finally says something, Callie says she's been having similar nightmares! She also reveals a slightly worse secret too. This fic also has a referenced/implied ship that some Splatoon fans might catch *wink,wink *this is my first fanfiction please don't be rude I'm still figuring out how to do this.
