Tommy and Chris had a hard time getting together in Book 1, but now it's Alekxander "Alek" Marshal's turn to experience his romance. Alek has been in foster care for two years after an incident with his parents and his old school. He was in a relationship with who he thought was the most amazing guy ever, until he found out the horrible truth, his ex, Bradford, had only used him for sex and a bet. When Alek discovered Bradford's secret he terrorized the school when he brought a gun to school and threatened to kill Bradford. He was coaxed out of it by his best friend. Alek was sentenced to community service. During one of his service hours he was told the horrifying news that Bradford had killed his parents and had killed himself to avoid punishment. Alek had been forced into foster care and had finally been adopted by Tommy and Chris. They knew of his past and wanted to help him. He finds comfort in Chris as a friend and hopes Chris can help him find true love as he is registered into a new school with new people and new friends. Alek soon finds himself in the loving arms of the school's most popular jock and in wondering if he is like Bradford. Jesse Richards, the school's hottest guy, Captin of the football team, and school's most popular gay guy, was tired of all of these plastic people. He wants someone who he can love forever, someone who he can tell his problems to and be able to take care of. He wants to help someone with their hurt and their pain. He wants to be important in someone's life. He was tired of seeing the same people and the same situations in the same school. He was about to shut himself from everyone until that fateful Monday morning when Alek walked though the halls of John F. Kennedy Senior High. Jesse Richard's life was about to change.

'He shut the door behind him, then looked at me. “Tell me a lie,” Louis looked at me, his eyes trailing over my face as if I was a piece of art he could not decipher. Swallowing hard, I frowned; hiding my nervousness, “I’m wearing ladies underwear.” He glared at me, “We both know that, that isn’t a lie. Now do as I say.” I lowered my head.’ Poor Liam. He’s in one of the latest break through bands – a boy band. The name ‘One Direction’ is on every teenager’s lips; whether it’s something good about the band, or something bad. Liam has girls throwing themselves at him, but he never even thinks tice about them. Why? He’s gay. And he’s gay for Louis, the joker of the group. But when Louis’s curiosity gets the best of him, he can’t keep his big mouth shut. How will Liam get through it alive; and with Louis and the band as well?

Well not so much a friend, as a science partner who rarely gives him a second look. His name is Jake and is known to be a 'nice guy' who everyone loves. He constantly has a GIRLFRIEND and everyone wants him because of his caring nature.... Little does everyone one know Jake has a secret, or secrets that he never shares. (I suck as descriptions.)

Ian almost drowned when he was two, but he was rescued by a mysterious boy who just happens to be a merman. Ian hasn't seen the boy in fifteen years, but he can't seem to move on. When Ian almost drowns again, the boy is there to save him once again. Jason just wants to save and run again. He's afraid of becoming too attached to Ian, but circumstances keep him in Ian's life this time. There's no denying the pull between them, but there are more obstacles than you can count. It all comes down to one thing in the end: How can you be with someone who lives in the ocean when you're too afraid to even step foot in it?
