It's been a while since Ribbit's abstraction. Weeks. Months. Maybe even years. It's hard to tell in the circus. One thing everyone is certain about, is the fact that Jax had changed a lot after that. For a while, he closed himself from others, later he came out, but no longer the same as before. He became cold. Cruel. The only person who could seemingly bring out the old Jax was Kaufmo. That is, until he abstracted as well. At that time, a new person joined the circus, as if the system replaced him with someone new - Pomni. Oddly enough, though he targeted her at first, Jax's sarcastic persona quickly warmed up to the newcomer. He seemed almost fond of her. Of course he would never let it show. He always aimed at keeping up the character he created for himself. Sure enough, he chose to push her away. Why keep someone close, if they're all gonna abstract later or sooner?

(set after Episode 6) After Caine's latest spectacle, Pomni begins to suspect that the circus's absurd sense of normalcy is nothing more than a façade. The bright colors, the festive missions, and the host's endless laughter hide cracks that are slowly widening, letting slip whispers and fragments of something long lost. Jax, always shielded by his cynicism, seems to know more than he lets on. In his eyes lie broken memories and a fear that betrays his constant mockery. Between him and Pomni grows a tension impossible to ignore: a blend of rejection, complicity, and secrets no one dares to name. But the system's errors aren't just harmless glitches. Distorted voices, strange reflections, and fractured memories begin to surface. What once seemed like a nonsensical circus may in fact be a prison-one that holds truths far too dangerous to ever be revealed.
