Neteyam was supposed to die that night on the rocks. Yet he didn't. Saralyn, a young traveler saved him. She is an outcast, no clan and no belonging. The Sullys do not trust her, but when she is forced to stay with the Metkayina clan and the family, feelings change. Distrust becomes curiosity and eventually friendship. Even after the parents warnings the Sully kids don't stay away from her, forming a bond despite their differences. Neteyam is torn between loyalty towards his parents and their wishes and curiosity and gratitude towards the traveler. When he leans closer into their bond, he threatens to disappoint his parents and duty, but what if he just can't help himself? - all characters and the world belong to James Cameron, except for Saralyn and her family :)

When a flower is caught in a storm it has two choices: break under the pressure or bend and improvise. In Petals in the Wind we follow Tsubame Shiori, a 19 year old girl, through her experiences of becoming and being a demon slayer. Coming from a loving family Tsubame has faced her own set of experiences that have shaped her youth, that she now carries into her adult life. The question though, is will Tsubame break or bend in the tides of war against Muzan? I do not own any characters or scenes in this story other than my original characters and their background/ independent scenes (scenes or interactions not written by Koyoharu Gotouge). All rights belong to Koyoharu Gotouge. Petals in the Wind is based off Koyoharu Gotouge's manga, with the addition of Tsubame Shiori (or Shiori Tsubame) and other characters created by me.
