Varian, who his whole life thought that his mother died from sickness, now knows his mother disappeared on a research journey. Varian gets a journal from his father alongside with the truth of his mother. The journal is full of Varian's mother's works, but one catches Varian's eye. The research his mother did before vanishing. Varian leaves Corona to complete his mother's unfinished work. On his journey Varian makes new friends, few enemies and finds out a lot about his mother. But is what he finds out what he expected? This is a rewrite of my other Vat7k fic named Varian's Trialed Adventure on AO3 and wattpad(currently only visible for the registered users on AO3, because one of my fic was stolen during AI scrapings). After everything that had happened Varian can't but feel little out of place and uncertain of who he should be. Then he gets an old journal from his father as a 18th year gift. Varian leaves Corona to find himself. He tries to find out what happened to his mother, who suddenly vanished in her research journey. Varian makes new friends and few enemies on his way to find the truth about his mother. Basically my version of Varian and the seven kingdoms and what I think could've happened. This is my take on the idea of a Varian spin-off series of Tangled: The Series/Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure. The AU was presented to Disney by storyboarders Kay Ritter and Anna Lencioni who took a liking to Varian's character and decided to create a story for him in his later years; detailing the adventures he might go on and the friends he makes along the way. I'll likely take a lot of inspiration from other fans too and I think that's what's great about vat7k, we all inspire each other with our ideas! :) This is probably gonna be a long one, hope you enjoy!!
