Shockwave doesn't understand him and becomes curious on the sounds that Shivertooth makes because he's part emotionless and doesn't really understand it. You'll see when that happens. Predaking is like a puppy to him because every boy needs a puppy. Dreadwing is a good person he trains and talks with because Shivertooth was an old friend of his.
