This is set in the 1950's and both Alastor and Vincent are in their late 30's. Both are single but are hoping for a partner. In this AU Vincent is gay. Alastor is bisexual and mixed race( like in canon) Vincent is an up and coming weather man who lives in a rundown studio apartment where as Alastor has been in the radio business for quite a few years and has more fame than Vincent whether it's for the better or for the worse. Al lives in a small-ish suburban house.
