After the final battle against Muzan Kibutsuji, Sanemi and Giyuu are left the only surviving hashira. They've both lost almost everything, their loved ones and friends ripped away in the concluded struggle between humans and demons. Peace and tranquility. Most all humans wish for a life filled to the brim with it. Giyuu was no exception to that. He, much like any other people, had only ever wanted to live a comfortable life. One without hardship, and one without illness. Most people never thought to wish on the second. Giyuu, however, has suffered dearly due to both physical illness, and mental. He often times found himself wandering around at night, not heading anywhere specific. His mind is awfully foggy at these times, and so he will often feel disoriented in a way; he wasn't thinking about where he was, and nor did he care.. The cover art isn't mine! In this au, Giyuu is not the water hashira, but Sabito is. They both passed final selection but due to Giyuu's eye injury he is blind in his left eye and keeps a bandage around it. He has a mellowed out personality but smiles and expresses his emotions. Sanemi Shinazugawa is preforming the hashira training and since all ranks have to participate he met Giyuu and was instantly wooed by Giyuu's strength, he saw Giyuu as an angle to the point Giyuu kept leaving an imprint on his mind. He was an angle with an angle's smile. :)

Sanemi thought he had hated Giyuu. He loathed that Giyuu always had a monotone voice and blank stare. Sanemi had always though of Giyuu as a stuck up human being who didn't talk to people he thought were below him. Had he known how much he longed for the pillar with the blank stare. This book is mature because there is mention of abuse. There is also descriptions of fighting parents and absent parents. I pull my headphones over my ponytail and start to play my favorite songs. but then i get pushed by someone. "Haha!" I hear this and someone slides past me and I trip. I look up and see the group of wannabe gangsters. I scoff and get so angry I throw a book at their leader. He turns and frowns at me everyone letting out gasps and oohs. I huff. "Gangster!" I scoff "What?" he says. He has white spiky hair and scars all over.
