Gemma Fletcher-Randolph's life looks perfect from the outside. She runs a historic observatory and nonprofit foundation, is married to a successful sports journalist, and comes from a respected Long Island family. But perfection fractures quietly. As her mother slips deeper into Alzheimer's and her father's behaviour becomes increasingly erratic, Gemma is forced to confront truths no one prepared her for. A devastating accident leaves her father fighting for his life, uncovering long-buried secrets that threaten everything her family built, and everything she thought she knew. While Gemma holds her world together, her marriage begins to crack. Her husband's growing distance, immaturity, and selfishness surface at the worst possible time, leaving her isolated when she needs him most. Standing beside her is Riley McKay, the vineyard manager who has been her protector, confidant, and constant since childhood. As Gemma navigates grief, betrayal, and the unravelling of her family's legacy, the lines between friendship, loyalty, and something far more dangerous begin to blur. With secrets hidden in legal files, cryptic warnings from a mother losing her memory, and a marriage built on shaky ground, Gemma must decide what, and who, is worth holding onto. Sometimes the most painful falls lead to the clearest truths.

Kavya never expected to find her place at the prestigious Delhi International School, but then she met Reyansh Malhotra. What started as a chance encounter in the corridor blossomed into an unbreakable friendship that became the envy of their entire school. For three years, they were inseparable-sharing dreams, secrets, and a bond so deep that Kavya began to see their friendship through rose-colored glasses. As Class XII approaches its end, Kavya realizes her feelings have grown beyond friendship. Watching Reyansh laugh with her, walk her to the local bus stop every day while his family's driver waited with their BMW, and treat her like she's the most important person in his world, she decides to take the leap and confess her love. But on the day she plans to open her heart, Kavya witnesses Reyansh asking Sanya-the popular, wealthy girl she can't stand-to be his date for the farewell party. Heartbroken and hiding behind the school pillars, Kavya overhears a conversation that destroys everything she believed about their friendship. To his friends questioning why he'd never consider dating Kavya, Reyansh's response is devastating: she's from a middle-class family on merit scholarship while he's from South Delhi elite society. Their "standards are too different," and being with her would hurt his reputation in their social circle. To him, she's nothing more than a charity case-his good deed, not his equal. In one crushing moment, Kavya discovers that three years of what she thought was genuine friendship was just pity from a rich boy playing the noble savior. Some hearts aren't meant to be given away, and some truths, once heard, can never be forgotten. A story about friendship, betrayal, class differences, and the painful lesson that love doesn't always conquer the divide between South Delhi mansions and middle-class apartments. A story about a smart woman who loves her husband, her son and her life. When she learns that her husband isn't the man she thought he was, she works on giving her son the life he deserves. It's also about a lying and cheating man, who thought he was clever enough to avoid honesty and accountability in his life. Sometimes making a mistake and then sincerely apologizing, just might just not be enough. "Mommy, why is daddy and that lady nakey hugging?" My son innocently and loudly asks, while his father seems to be trying to locate his pants. Spoiler alert, they are on the floor under my feet, by the door, not anywhere near where he and his 'nakey' friend are sprawled on the couch. The woman shrieks, Kayley and I both fumble for the light switch just as River hits the button for daddy's 'magic office windows', which are now fully visible to the entire office floor, and all 127 employees are staring at and sharing my horror as my husband and his whatever she is are naked and trying to get dressed. Well damn, happy Wednesday to me.

The woman standing in his kitchen, wearing his engagement ring and knowing every shadow in his soul, is a stranger. Jules Hagen loved Seth through every version of himself: the guarded man, the broken one, the architect who finally learned how to build a life worth staying for. Now, she shares a home with the only version of him she never prepared for: the man who doesn't remember choosing her at all. As Seth struggles to inhabit a future he doesn't remember building, Jules is left carrying a love story only she can recall-forced to decide whether to keep fighting for the man she lost or let him become a stranger for the second time. Because forgetting was never the hardest part. Choosing each other again is.

Marriage did not break Aeries. It eroded her slowly. Five years ago, she married Mateo out of obligation after one reckless night left her pregnant with twins. What began as duty became routine, and routine became survival. Mateo provided everything a woman was supposed to want: a beautiful home, financial security, a complete family. Except fidelity. Aeries spent years swallowing lipstick stains, unfamiliar perfume, late-night excuses, and the humiliation of being loved only when Mateo feared losing her. Every betrayal ended the same way-flowers, vacations, apologies whispered against her skin, and promises that never lasted long enough to matter. Until one day, she stopped crying. And that terrified Mateo more than her tears ever did. As Aeries grows colder and more distant, an old childhood friend returns and reminds her of the woman she used to be before marriage reduced her to merely surviving. For the first time in years, she begins to wonder if love is supposed to feel this lonely. But when she finally leaves, Mateo realizes too late that the wife he took for granted was the only person who ever truly loved him. Now, after destroying the woman who stayed through everything, Mateo is left with a painful truth: Sometimes love does not die all at once. Sometimes it disappears quietly. And sometimes, the cruelest thing in the world is realizing someone stopped loving you long before they walked away. (The plots of my stories are originally mine, but I had help with AI in writing the prose. This is just experimental and for fun. I have another account where I actually do it traditionally)
