Your team gets five new players. Your eyes are caught onto one of the new players and apparently you catch his. What will happen? What will you do? Augustine Rose Jensen, born August 13, 1981, in Iceland, was born to play hockey. Ever since she was a little girl, people would always find her on the ice. When she was six, she and her parents moved to Alaska, finding it right to start over after the loss of her grandmother, who had a great impact on Augustine's first few years. She grew up with her life surrounded by hockey, playing on a club team that would go across the nation to compete, having her of course as the star player and captain. Her team had a great reputation, and she became very well known as the greatest female hockey player in the nation. So when Augustine gets the invite to play for Team USA in the Junior Good Will Games, there's no way she could turn down the opportunity. With Team USA, or the Ducks, she finds friends, fun and a whole bunch of memories she will hold forever. Nyx is starting high school but the Ducks make it more interesting for her.

tragedy strikes the new team usa, when their number one enemy joins. her name is slater pendland: captain of the infamous team, the hawks. she's immediately disliked by everyone. well, almost everyone. the only people she can seem to catch a break with are adam banks and guy germaine. adam had always had a soft spot for her considering he liked her for years, but never found the courage to say anything. he always assumed she had better options. little did he know, she had felt the same. as soon as guy sees her, he knows there's something different about her. they were no longer the ten year olds who tripped each other on the ice, or put gum in each other's hair. they had changed, and he really wanted to get to know her.

[currently on hold] danica chen remembers the ducks fondly. they were a huge part of her life for a long time. she was there before they even got the name 'ducks'. back when it was just a team of kids with magazines as knee pads, who went by 'district five'. but after their winning season with gordon bombay, she was promptly moved to new york to live with her father, after accepting a broadway role in the secret garden. she was left with only memories of her old friends, and continued to play hockey in whatever free time she had left, getting better and better each year. still, she wasn't expecting to get an invitation to join team usa, and get the chance to play with her former duckies. she's ecstatic about the whole thing, especially after she realizes she might just rekindle an old flame with the one and only, charlie conway. sawyer nguyen: eden hall's one and only female varsity player. she had skipped the sixth grade, making her a sophomore at the age of a freshman. this was her second year on varsity, and she had learned that if she just kept her head down, she could avoid the trouble. she hated their attitudes and their superiority complex, but she didn't have a choice when it came to being on the team. she was on scholarship, and if she wasn't on varsity, she would lose everything she had been working for. but, when adam banks comes along, she thinks maybe this year won't be so bad. with another person her age on the team, with similar morals, it might just be the change she's been looking for. adam hated that he had been put on varsity, but he knew his dad would kill him if he passed up this opportunity. and when he met sawyer, his whole attitude towards the team changed. it was still pretty bad, but she might just be the silver lining he was looking for.

adam banks: senior, varsity hockey star, and the most popular boy in school. a lot about eden had changed since their freshman year. the ducks, while humble in nature, had morphed into something unrecognizable. they went from freshman underdogs to varsity kings, and in all that they lost themselves. eliza tao: senior, theatre department president, and generally liked among the masses. one night, during a required viewing of eden's fall musical: little women (in which she played the lead), a few of the ducks begin to discuss the girl. before too long, adam's agreeing to something he never thought he would: a bet. if he can get eliza to get in bed with him, charlie will give him his first line center position on the ice. the deal was too hard to ignore. and so were his unlikely feelings for the girl her knew nothing about.
