During the three months in Paris, Liana has gone to so many incredible places and even decided to change her hair to blonde. Then she met a man, whom she enjoyed his company and now is her current boyfriend, Jason Teague. Not everything is as it seems, when a strange mark is put on Liana, and she recognizes as symbol in the caves in Smallville. So, Liana returns home early to find out what the symbol means.

After the second meteor shower happened, Liana saw a spaceship with two aliens come out with powers. Liana and Clark are finally together and Liana and Lex are working together to find out more about the spaceship. Jonathan Kent is going to be running for Senator and Liana is his advisor. Since Liana has been busy with helping Jonathan Run for Senator, Liana has stopped helping Lex and instead Lana is in her place helping Lex. Lana and Lex get closer than friends and Liana gets very protective over Lana and her relationship with Lex. Towards the end of the book, Liana finds out who her real father is and it changes her relationship with her best friend, Chloe.

While Liana and Clark are still friends, Clark finds it hard to move on from Liana, even when she starts dating a new guy. Liana has decided to change her last name from Lang to Lane. Liana's happy for her sister and Lex, even though a small part of her doesn't trust Lex's intentions.

Liana and Clark shared their secrets to each other and are now back together. Liana's living at the Kent farm with Clark and he couldn't be happier. Liana on the other hand is saddened by the death of her sister, but is surprised to find her alive and that she only faked her death to protect her. While Lana is also staying at the Kent Farm she is keeping secrets from Liana to protect her.

It's been four weeks since Lana left. It's been four weeks since Chloe was taken. It's been four weeks since Clark left. Liana's worst nightmare comes true when the people she loves leave. Liana and Clark work together at the Daily Planet solving mysterious cases. After Lex disappeared there's been a new owner for the Daily Planet, who has taken his place, his mansion and has her eye on Clark. There's a new guy who seems normal but is actually an alien from Krypton and he's attracted to Chloe, even though she's engaged to Jimmy.

Three weeks later, Liana is back in Metropolis but has no memory of where she was from. Liana finds out that she's been missing for three weeks and she wants to figure where she has been. There's a new reporter and he seems interested in Liana, but he has his own secrets. Liana and Clark reconcile their relationship and they couldn't be happier. A new threat enters the world and it wants Kal-El.
