Juliet thought moving to Mystic Falls would be simple a fresh start in a quiet town.

His lips brushed mine softly, teasingly before pulling back just enough to see my reaction. My knees felt weak. My chest tightened.
"You like that, don't you?" he whispered, voice barely more than a caress.
I couldn't answer. Couldn't speak. All I could do was shiver and let the pull between us grow, dangerous and thrilling, and entirely irresistible.
He smiled, darkly pleased, and leaned in again. This time, he kissed me fully, slow, deliberate, leaving me breathless, dizzy, and painfully aware of exactly what I wanted-and what I shouldn't.
And somehow, I didn't care.
