This AU takes place in the events of the episode, Heart Of Evil, in Season 5 of the show. I recommend watching the episodes, Mutant Gangland, in Season 4 and, Heart Of Evil, in Season 5 before reading this. It'll help you better understand the events in this AU. Leo wishes he could forget that night. He wishes he could forget Donnie's expression. Forget the blood. Forget the words: "This is the end." But some memories don't fade. And some secrets don't stay buried. As Donnie drifts further away and Leo begins to lose sleep, lose hope, and maybe even lose himself, the cracks in their family start to show. Raph knows something is wrong. Mikey knows everyone's hurting. And Leo knows one terrible truth: Some things can't be undone. And not all nightmares end when you wake up. This Is The End But the nightmares have just begun. (I'm not entirely sure how to explain this AU because it's kinda a lot. All I can really do to explain it is that it mostly revolves around Leo and Donnie. But you can decide what kind of an AU it is to you. Anyways, I've worked really hard on this and will be consistently updating it. The parts will be short but they'll definitely hit hard. It's been ten years since I stepped foot in that place. Ten years ago, I was fourteen, working a summer job in the gift shop of Playtime Co.. Ten years ago, I left the job when school started. Ten years ago, Playtime Co. suddenly shut down. Ten years later, I receive a letter urging me to return. And I do. I go back to the factory I never thought I'd hear of again. The factory I thought was abandoned. The factory I thought was just a toy factory. Now the question remains; will I survive the darkest depths of Playtime Co.'s secrets, or has my life already been taken from me, before I had even realized it? Pretty much if I were the player in real life, and how I would go about my business in the Playtime Co. factory. I won't be changing anything in the story line, and everything will be accurate to the games. Since I will be talking to characters occasionally, they will have a short response, but nothing that changes anything major in the lore and story.
