Legolas has always wanted to be free and to be loved. He tried to run away once. His father, King Thranduil, was not please with him. Thranduil had chains placed around his ankles and wrists. "Do not try to run away again, my little leaf." Thranduil hissed as he connected the chains on Legolas's wrists to the chain on the throne. "Pplease, my king! I am sso ssorry!" Legolas begged. "These chains will remain upon you until Elrond comes." Thranduil spat as he sat on his throne. Legolas prayed to the Valor that the Lord of the Hidden Valley would visit soon.

***First in The Ghost Warrior Series*** Little Legolas and Thranduil are in Imladris for meetings to discuss the growing darkness in Middle-Earth. Within two days of being there, an elleth is attacked and a note is left behind that details a threat towards someone, who ends up being the Prince later on when another note is found.
