BEING A TEEN SERIES: THAT GUY (BOOK 1) Every single teenage girl fantasizes. And most times they fantasize about the same thing. About THAT GUY. THAT GUY, she'll have a crush on and he'll discover and like her back. THAT GUY, that will sweep her off her feet. THAT GUY, that's gonna spoil her rotten. THAT GUY, that's gonna give her everything she wants. THAT GUY, that's gonna call her and she'll blush while they talk for 6,7 hours. THAT GUY, that his message would be the first message she'll see in the morning and the one she'll see when she's about to sleep. THAT GUY, that's gonna be with her through her times of pains. THAT GUY, who's gonna be her Red Ranger and be overly possessive of her. THAT GUY, that can't get angry with her even though she's the most annoying person on earth. THAT GUY, that's gonna shower her with love. THAT GUY, that's gonna hold her hands and remind her everyday that "You are the most beautiful person on earth" THAT GUY, that she's gonna love in love with and would love fall in love with her too. Well, I Olaniyi Omotoke wasn't exempted from this fantasy, infact I was the queen of fantasizing. Korean movies weren't helping either. I was waiting and anxiously waiting for THAT particularly GUY. But if anyone told me, that THAT GUY was going to be Ajayi-Ayodele Philip,Boston's most sought after guy, he was my one year senior and also the school Assistant Senior Prefect Boy. Philip was perfect. He was God's own made human. I was sure, God took a day off to create him and God was extremely patient in creating. But I never saw him except assembly days because SS3 block was segregated from the normal Senior Secondary School Academic Block, you couldn't just run into any SS3 student not to talk of Snr Phil, that was what everyone called him. But here's the question, what if to THAT GUY, am not THAT GIRL?

Although no one knew it, Desire was struggling. It was highly unbelievable because as a top worker in one of Lagos' most exclusive and influential night clubs, she was making thousands every night. All her other friends were living large, and building houses, so why couldn't she? Her father had died five years ago, leaving them drowning in a sea of debt. Her mother was sick, and couldn't do anything, so from an early age Desire had had to wear the mantle of responsibility. A twenty six million naira debt was on her neck, and for five years, Desire had consistently been paying it off; while simultaneously keeping a roof over her mother's head, and saving up money for school. Salvation came at last; but in form of the hardest, most handsome man she had ever laid eyes upon? General Babalola Halal. He was offering five million Naira for a whole month of exclusive sex. Pure, undiluted gratification. It was her job, and this offer was coming on a platter of gold. Even more tempting was the fact that it was the exact amount needed to be free of her father's debt. Completely. But he was hard, and demanding, and excruciatingly virile. Accepting this posed a risk far greater than millions. The stark reality of losing everything she stood for, and gaining nothing in return because a man like this never gave anything of himself. He was rich, five million Naira meant nothing to him. But she knew what she was getting into, she knew how addictive his touch was, and how hard it was to stay sane around him. Could she do this? Was losing her sanity a price she was willing to pay?

Giwa Falade is the ruthless Queen Bee of Castron High. Known for her sassy, bold, no-nonsense attitude and awfully feared, absolutely dreaded by the entire student population, for this very reason. Giwa loves what she does, instilling fear in people, and she obsesses over this fear, feeds on it like it is her food and water. Coupled with a bad past and an overwhelming struggle going on within herself, Giwa's decision to protect herself creates her messed up obsession and craving for fear. However, all may not always be exactly what it seems on the outside. When 'hard girl' Giwa falls in love, it seems surreal. She starts to connect with people she wouldn't see eye to eye with, and a forming bond between her and the school hunk unravels the mystery behind her twisted mindset. However, this also brings in a truck load of unwanted drama, hidden secrets, deep betrayal, and worse, more flawed teenagers who keep making even worse decisions, and intertwining into her story, causing the so awaited final year of High School to turn from bliss to a never ending nightmare. Even worst, Giwa Falade, Miss Queen Bee, pulls herself right into it. All in all, these teenagers are in for an experience of a lifetime. And what happens when everything becomes a drastic, dead end for Giwa, filled with tears, regrets, broken friendships, relationships, losses, and the painful, unattainable wish to take back the hands of time? What happens to the lives of the other flawed teenagers, like Giwa, who unfortunately get mixed up in her mess and pay for the consequences of their own actions? BEING A TEEN SERIES: BIMBO (BOOK 4) That line, that fucked up imaginary line. The people we like never like us back. They either like someone and that someone else ends up liking you or that usual crazy line. One sided love is something nobody wishes for, everybody wants the people we love to us back and however for everybody, that's not the case. For Adewole-Adedeji Abimbola, hers was the complete opposite. She had liked Paul for a long time;since their preschool days and the latter barely acknowledged her. He hated her being around him and being around him was something Bimbo enjoyed. She lost her dream guy, she lost her best friend and she also lost her heart. She was too heartbroken and became cold and distant to everyone. Her character took on a new phase as she shut everyone out. She focused on her books and topped the class leaving both her best friend and Paul running after her. With her new cold and indifferent attitude, she barely noticed a particular someone who had eyes on her since forever. But she never noticed him. Meet Adeleke Jeremiah, Boston International College, social prefect. Tall, lean and he had an amazing athletic build. He played football too and the whole female population had eyes on him but Jeremiah enjoyed being low profile. What on earth that attracted him to his one year junior;he couldn't decipher it at all. He even went ahead to stalk her on IG and someone he was on her contact list yet they never spoke. When Jeremiah is assigned to her class as her Prep Captain, sparks finally fly.
