The scent of blood was strong, and the foul stench of death hung in its presence. My eyes rested upon that man, the figure that lay sprawled out upon that study floor, covered in a white sheet stained with splotches of crimson. Murder. The most repulsive yet intriguing of all cases. It all seems clear to everyone, except one detective. Not all is as it seems. *Note - lots of mention of blood. But no gore.
