What Peter doesn't know, is that the stranger on the other side of the phone is his biggest idol - genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist, Tony Stark. The Ex Avengers were pardoned and now they were all one big team. Cool, right? But the thing was Spider-Man was a honorary Avenger. Still cool, right? How about the fact that no one except for Tony had met him? Not so cool. Basically Stark let the team and Peter meet. The Avengers are curious about the boy Tony keeps talking about. They easily mistook the boy as Tony's son, based on how Tony talks about him. No matter how often Tony corrects them, it still stings a bit every time he admits that Peter isn't his son. Tony introduces Peter, to the Avengers.
