Dahlia, who was mistakenly arrested, somehow found herself in the same prison cell with the most dangerous prisoner in the empire. Killian, who was the strongest knight of the fallen enemy kingdom, was kept as a prisoner after his homeland's defeat in the war. He was known as the crazy madman who ruthlessly slaughtered hundreds of men in the battlefield. He was all the things one would be terrified of when heard. The story used to scare children to sleep. A killer A lunatic A madman who laughed while slaughtering his enemies A man who only lusted for blood. Those were the names attached to him. Valuing her dear life, Dahlia decided to earn his interest by pretending to like him. After all, he was known to spare interesting things, especially women, according to the rumors she heard, that is. However, her act of pretending to like him was no use at all. The more she fawned over him, the more he threatened her. Eventually, the time came when she was finally free to go but couldn't bid him a proper farewell. And years later... "Why did you suddenly disappear that day?" Never did she expect she would encounter him again. "Do you know that I've almost gone mad searching for you?" He said with his deep calloused voice. And though her body was frozen in his arms, she gulped as he leaned into her ears. "You told me before that you'd marry me once we got out of that prison." A breath hitched in her throat. "Aren't you going to keep your words, my beloved?" He said. It seemed like he had no intention of letting her go.

"You... want me to show you my belly? And you're paying me 500 dollars for it?" I repeated in disbelief. "Yes," Mr. Calnan replied curtly. Shock mixed with suspicion. Mr. Calnan, our strict and cold boss, who had banned all workplace romance, wanted to see... my belly? Why my belly, of all things?! And why ME?! This had to be a test. He was testing whether I would agree, only to fire me afterward. But even that theory had flaws-after all, he was the one who initiated this crazy idea. I hesitated for what felt like a long time. Then, in the end, curiosity won over, and on a sudden impulse, I spread open my work coat and lifted my white T-shirt. Mr. Calnan's gaze instantly locked onto my bare stomach. His focused stare burned into my skin as he thoroughly examined every square inch of the exposed area. My face burned with embarrassment. He didn't say anything, and he didn't grimace, but I could see on his face that he didn't like what he saw. My chubby belly, my stretch marks, and the faint line of hair below my navel that I hadn't had time to shave. Well, I know it's not the most attractive sight, but then why did he want to see my belly? Honestly, what was he expecting? "Can I pull my T-shirt back down?" I asked, humiliated and irked. "Yes," Mr. Calnan replied after a brief pause. He didn't speak for a while, just stared at my now-covered stomach with a blank expression. Meanwhile, I waited impatiently and tensely for him to do something. I needed to know whether he was actually going to give me the money or not, and whether it would turn out that this had all just been a test. Suddenly, he moved toward me, closing the distance between us. He loomed over me, and I looked up at his face in alarm. "I'll give you another 1000 if you let me touch your hips." My eyes widened in shock. *Edited to fit within the character limit for the description

*Completed* "I just want to know why." I say as I turn over, trying to find his figure through the dark of my room. "Why what?" He asks. "Why you're being so nice to me." I say quietly, vulnerability seeping into my words. "How we even became friends." He sighs, "I want to know how." I scrunch my brow. "How what?" His response is soft, the opposite of his sarcastic personality. "How you don't see it." ******* Reagan Holt was about as average as a high school student could be. She didn't play any sports, didn't participate in the popular activities, and wasn't the girl all the boys chased after. All except one boy. He wrote her a letter every week. So the two should be together, right? That's the way Reagan wants it, but there's just one problem. He signs his letters "Love, Anonymous." Now add an obnoxious, conceited, sex god into the equation and you get a teenage girl confused on who really loves her. The sweet, tender written anonymous lover, or the cocky, ignorant asshole? -REVIEWS- "You create such wonderful characters and I can't wait to see what happens next!"
