Sang Sorenson has just become the first female head coach in the MLB. The team that hired her are needing to completely overhaul the older team, and bring in younger, fresher faces, in hopes they won't have to sell the team. In come the Blackbourne Team. There have been talks about corruption throughout the MLB, and the Blackbourne and Toma teams have been called in to infiltrate the organization, and root out the people behind the corruption. The Blackbourne team have all landed starting positions, and will be working closely with Sang to try to get the clubhouse back in peak position, hopefully with a World Series win. Can they make it happen? Who is behind the corruption. How will their feelings for Sang fall into place, when they all have feelings for her, and her for all of them? This is my first time delving into a full story fanfic with established characters, so please be patient as I figure the story out. Kota and Nate take Jess bra shopping, and the cutest girl they've ever seen intervenes when they are less than helpful. And Luke finally meets someone who values pancakes as much as he does...possibly more. And it's barely even Tuesday. ~oOo~ This is a reverse harem fanfic based on C.L. Stone's Ghost Bird series. Be warned, I don't do trigger warnings on individual chapters and this is a Ghost Bird story: there is physical and emotional abuse, implied and overt; there are nine men interested in one woman (#whychoose) and sometimes each other; and the language used is appropriate for mature readers only. This story is the fanfiction version of In The Shadows written by the amazing Katydids. It is now an original, with a completed first book and the beginning of a second. While the fanfic version is similar to her original with some of the characters and basic plot, not everything is the same. Katy is graciously allowing me to post this here. When Sang's father dies, she and her mother move away to her grandparents. There she meets a group of guys that live down the road who are so much more than they seem. Soon, Sang's world is rocked with a revelation that changes all she's every known about herself and her family. And with this revelation comes a danger that she may not be equipped to deal with. What happens when the world you thought you lived in isn't anything like it seems? This is a fanfiction of The Academy: Ghost Bird series by CL Stone. All characters and rights go to her.
