Neil Perry and Todd Anderson are a popular ship from the Dead Poets Society Fandom, personally one of my favorite of all time. This text describes their evolving relationship, following along with the chronological events of the movie. I may have skipped some parts or added, but the overall gist is similar to the 1989 movie (minus the fact that Neil Perry and Todd Anderson do not actually have a "romance" in the movie). The story might be a little longer than other fanfics, particularly because I include a lot of dialogue from the movie to make it seem more realistic.

Todd is watching helplessly as Neil is carted away after the play, when he is visited by three strange spirits. Each spirit reveals to him a different aspect of his story, and the gives Todd one last chance to save Neil. But will he be able to do it? Or will he learn a lesson in preventing the inevitable?(A Christmas Carol knockoff, happy holidays)
