'iss pyaar ko kya naam doon' fanfiction. previously known as 'innocence.' this is a new, re-written version. [ipkknd au | contract marriage track rewrite] ••• Around two months have passed since the unexpected (contract) marriage between Khushi Kumari Gupta and Arnav Singh Raizada. The two souls were miserable, to say the least. Arnav was deeply hurt by the betrayal of the girl he loved. And, so, he wanted her to feel the same pain he was going through. Furthermore, he wanted her to experience the agony of a broken marriage at the end of the contract since she was willing to do the same to his sister by having an affair with his brother-in-law. Khushi, on the other hand, spent each day in tears. She felt lost and heartbroken. Her adopted family disowned her, her in-laws disliked her, her brother-in-law harassed her, her own husband loathed her. Her questions about Arnav's abrupt decision to marry her remained unanswered. Overall, she could not wait for this nightmare to be over. ••• images used throughout the story do not belong to me. credits go to the owner.

It took the Beasts mere weeks to overthrow the human government and eliminate most of the population. Those who survived were put into slavery, forced to spend their lives serving the royal families and wealthier Beasts. Adeline has been a servant for the royals for as long as she can remember. It's hard work, but she feels lucky to be born and raised in King Richard's kingdom. He's a kind ruler, and his humans are often treated well. King Heloix, on the other hand, is known for his ruthlessness. He has little tolerance for his fellow Beasts, and even less for humans. Rumors are that his servants are often killed as punishment for even the smallest mishaps, and to survive even a year while working for him is an accomplishment. When Adeline is transferred to King Heloix's castle, it takes him only seconds to recognize who she is to him. Will he accept her as his mate or reject her existence? ⚠️THIS BOOK CONTAINS MATURE AND TRIGGERING THEMES⚠️

Before she was a hero, she was a secret that very few knew about. Now the world knows her as Aether, a young "metahuman" with elemental powers unlike anything the League has seen. But the deeper she pushes her abilities, the more others try to uncover what she's hiding. Fragments of another world, another life, whispering through her mind. Some secrets are buried for a reason. And some refuse to stay hidden, especially when a certain birdie won't leave her alone. I do not own the rights to Young Justice or to any content I use for my OC based on ATLA. My interpretations and rewrites of the lore I do own, I guess.

ONC 2026, Prompt 78: You begin to realize that nothing is quite what it seems ONGOING! Couture Magazine: the most prestigious fashion publication in the world, where hemlines are sacred, deadlines are deadly, and the coffee runs are... surprisingly literal. Every intern who walks through those gleaming Manhattan doors dreams of landing a full-time position-complete with vision, dental (including twice-yearly cleanings), and an endless supply of designer clothes fresh off the runway. Sure, the demands from editors, photographers, and even the notoriously temperamental writers can be exhausting. But an intern's day at Couture is pretty ordinary, right? WRONG. Alcide Lancaster is about to discover that his summer internship working for the iconic-yet-terrifying Ellen Montclaire comes with a few... unexpected job requirements. Like why he and a select few employees-including the formidable Editor-in-Chief herself-are the only ones taking mandatory two-hour lunch breaks. Why his thirty-to-fifty-something coworkers look suspiciously athletic, eerily youthful, and are borderline obsessed with eyewear that definitely isn't just a fashion statement. And why A-list celebrities who stop by the Couture offices seem less interested in the magazine's latest cover shoot and oddly fascinated with Alcide himself. But most importantly... What does any of this have to do with Alcide's late family, their disturbingly narrow worldview, and the real reason they wanted him out of their lives forever? All excellent questions for a young man trying to survive a summer packed with Fashion Week chaos, superpowered coworkers who treat the office like their personal runway, and a boss who's less Anna Wintour and more fierce-but-loving grandmother. Between navigating new friendships, an unexpected romance, and enough secrets to fill an entire September issue, Alcide is about to learn that in the world of high fashion... Not everything is just an illusion.
