"For the boys who believe they cannot be loved, For the girls who carry nothing but broken pieces, yet still choose to give, She healed him in silence, expecting his hatred, doing everything to push him away." "A story of fated collision, healing arcs, and devotion that refuses to break, even when it destroys." AYAAN MALHOTRA A 25 year old man, software engineer, working in an MNC. He was passionate, full of life until one day, destiny played a cruel game and left him crippled for his whole life. After that day, no one had ever seen him smile. He became insecure and wanted to live alone. But fate had other plans and he was forcefully destined with Sarika Arora. SARIKA ARORA A 25 year old girl, pursuing her Ph.D in psychology in Switzerland, living her life on her terms, far away from her painful past. She never wanted to marry but destiny left her with no say and she herself had to choose Ayaan Malhotra. "Why did you marry a crippled man like me?" he shouted at her. "Because, I never wanted to marry anyone." she replied calmly. "Then why did you spoil our life?" his tone dripping with venom. She leaned in, trapping him between her and the wheelchair. Her eyes darkened, "Because, it is better to marry an insecure man than the egoistic one. I married you for my own benefit." she said while smirking. "Ayaan has recovered 90% already. Soon, he will start walking, all thanks to you. But why don't you tell him that you are behind his impossible recovery?" Christine, Ayaan's therapist, friend of Sarika, asked her. "Because, I don't want him to have soft corners for me." Sarika replied. "He hates you because he thinks you married him for your own benefits." Christine showed concern. "Let him hate me. I want him to hate me more than anything else." Sarika said without showing any expression. He was on the verge of the terrace when the phone call broke his spell. "Shit!" He came down by a invisible pull and picked up his half broken phone from the floor. Unknown number. His whole body was trembling. He picked up the call with shaky hands and held it to his ear. A loud, angry female voice came from the other side "HOW DARE YOU DITCH ME ABHIMAN! KUTTE KI MAUT MAROGE SAALE! SHARAM NAHI AYI! MERA PHONE NAHI UTHA RAHE-" "Shivraj this side." He said in his calm voice Silence. "Agnishikha this side." Silence again. "Wrong Number" Said the both of them in unison. ___________________________________________ Two of them sat on the same bed. The distance between them was too huge for those who will get married in months. Aviraj cleared his throat, "Are you.. comfortable?" Vyomika nodded "Waise ghar toh mera hai.. toh..mujhe aapse puchna chahiye tha. Sorry" Aviraj scratched the back of his neck. Two of them remained staring at the stylish marbe floor for maximum 5 minutes. Then Aviraj broke the silence, "Our parents arranged our marriage" No aviraj. THIS was the sentence you blurted out before your would be bride? Kya paati banega tu. Vyomika blinked once at him and nodded like a Ai robot would. Aviraj spoke again "Do you..agree to this marriage? If you don't, then the marriage won't happen without your consent" "I agree." ___________________________________________ Pasand aya? "Happy Married Life, Shivya Pathak" I weakly smiled seeing my condition, mangalsutra dangling in my neck, vermilion in hair and both hands filled with gold bangles. "Come out quickly or do you want me to break the gate," my husband knocked again. My breath was harsh, collecting some courage I spoke, "I will come out but you will not touch me again, otherwise I will kill myself" My throat clogged up, the last word refusing to come out. He didn't reply, just chuckled. I knew what it meant. He was going to push me further, to break me. "I will not be your puppet," I said, my voice barely a whisper. "I will not be your toy." ••••••••••••••••••• Two persons who belong to two different world Tied in unwanted marriage Will they continue this marriage for life or will they free each other from this name sake relationship?
