Just a short story I wrote for school that I'm actually proud of. The assignment was to write a short story but it had to include the paragraph; 'I walked into the room. Just inside, a man in a brown trench coat was talking to a crying woman. He held a notepad and was scribbling furiously as she sniffed into a handkerchief. Behind them on the floor, I could make out the white chalk outline of a man. It was then that I', and the res was up to me. I hope you enjoy!
