My following words of yore and spite may shock you to the very core. They acknowledge a fact known to few, and even less, known to heart. But please, by the whim of mind and patience of soul, I beseech you to listen all the clear. Tolkien's tale of Middle Earth has fallen from its original translation. His story of Thorin Oakenshield's company once bore truth, but fate was reconstructed in light of a prophecy: The girl born of flame, fostered by the dwarves, royal in her name, and her child's birth. She is the one and only protector of Middle Earth, guardian over Mordor, savior of our royal dwarf. Her knowledge will be countered by family's unknown survival, though fate will turn it right as in sacrifice of her royal line. It isn't just a story, but the Valar's greatest mistake; let the heavens toll loud to save Durin's sons After the war of the ring and the destruction of Sauron, the Valar decided to repeat the past, starting at the union of the company within a small hobbit hole in the typically quiet Shire. Why, you may ask, did they decide to do this? Originally, the Valar had ignored the prophecy stated above (as they had done in the past), allowing the Durin line to be exterminated by the Pale Orc, Azog. However, the reign of Dain and his heirs as they took Erebor's throne turned out to be heartless and cruel, unlike the intended fate of Erebor foretold. Therefore, the Valar decided to turn back the clock, 60 years, giving Gandalf the idea to invite the "girl of fire" to the meeting in Hobbiton. Indeed, this did bring about the intended fate of the Lonely Mountain as well as infinite happiness to the company of heroic dwarves. This is her story, as she sacrificed her line in saving Durin. I was inspired to write this short story after seeing a graphic shared by becLadyOakenshield on Facebook, from an Armitage Army Portrait of Richard Armitage as Thorin Oakenshield sleeping (used in the story cover graphic).

Gandalf promised to help the dwarves reclaim their homeland...what he didn't tell them was he was being along his apprentice Salacia. However...she manages to capture not only the heart of Thorin, but the hearts of Fili and Kili as well.

"Your child will be gifted. She will be able to do what even Elves have trouble with. Be warned, she may not survive the coming days, but then, the fate of Middle-Earth is yet in the balance." "Now for another, one to keep her steady." But Almiel's fate is her own to decide.

When Larien Telrúnya, a princess of Mirkwood, is discovered to be a half-blood, she is locked away to be forgotten by her family. When she meets dwarfs for the first time she is amazed and eager to go with them on their journey to reclaim their homeland. Along the way she learns more about her heritage, battles orcs, faces death for the first time, and falls deeply in love.

Orphaned at 3 years old, Ariana was adopted by Aragorn, the rugged, handsome ranger who is the only parent she can recall ever having. At 63 years old she's a loud, dangerous and often immature elf who's never been afraid to be herself. But is joining the Fellowship of the Ring just another adventure? Or will a certain someone change her life forever?

*Will have spoilers!!!! read at your own risk!!**I saw The Hobbit, and instantly fell in love with Thorin!!!! I have been thinking of this story ALL DAY so I decided to write it down! I know it's not Avenged, frankly, I dot care!! I made up a character and we'll see how this goes!!

This is my version of the Hobbit; focusing on Thorin Oakenshield, though, not Bilbo. I suppose it could be called 'The Dwarf' but that would just be a little odd. It follows the story of Thorin's journey to Erebor, starting before he heads off to a meeting of the dwarves at Iron Hill, in a human kingdom in the south; a kindom with an Elvish princess. In an odd twist of fate, she ends up on his journey. And nearly kills every single person there, deliberately. But that's all in the story. So read!
