Thirdly, I took inspiration from BSD Beast, hence the name of the fic being a reference to Osamu Dazai's book No Longer Human, and the whole mafioso thingy. Summary: Kaedehara Kazuha: the boss of a famed criminal organization, the Fatui. Scaramouche: the lead detective working on the case of the mysterious new Fatui leader. Their meeting happens seemingly by chance, at an empty and desolate bar. The friendship that forms afterwards is something tender and intimate. But Kazuha knows more than he lets on, and he isn't who he says he is. (Scaramouche finds that out the hard way.)

Inspired by real life events: Kazuha was a boy working as a bartender for quite some time after graduated from college. Unfortunately due to his weak grades, he is only able to land a job as a bartender in Mondstadt's bar. Everything was going rough on him and Kazuha was struggling to keep up with life's fast pace. That is until one day, a young man wearing a purple hoodie and a black cap entered the bar late at night...
