Until one night, during a mission, Sanemi finds Giyuu alone on the edge of a mountain. Something is wrong. And for once, Sanemi's anger isn't enough to make him walk away. What begins as an unwanted act of concern slowly becomes something neither of them knows how to handle. Two Hashira. Two damaged people. Too many things left unsaid. And somewhere between the arguments, missions, silence and unexpected moments of kindness, Sanemi begins to realise that perhaps he never hated Tomioka as much as he thought he did.
