Isolatedpawn
These are the real diaries I wrote between ages sixteen and twenty-four.
Different Every Night follows my life from 2000 to 2007 as I move through high school, first love, trauma, motherhood, and college while trying to survive the version of myself I was becoming.
The story is built from my unedited diaries, letters, text messages, and emails interwoven with narrative interludes and surreal, dreamlike reconstructions of real events. Sometimes as they happened, sometimes as I remember them, and sometimes things I just wished had happened differently.
If you like raw honesty, hybrid narrative, literary memoir, or stories that blur reality and memories, you will like this. I honestly don't hold anything back.
