This story takes place on the South Side of Chicago from (mostly) 2021 to 2025 and follows James "Lil J" Mack as he gets pulled deeper into gang violence after losing his mother years earlier. As rival gangs fight and people, he trusts start turning on each other, Lil J commits seven murders while trying to protect himself and his family. Told in first person.
