A new school year means new surprises, and Shira Brazille, founder of Alpha Academy, is full of them. The popular kids in 7th grade of Emerald Middle School, also known as the “angels”, share a secret about a former angel named Michael. The day it happened, all the angels except for Michael were at Julia’s house. Then he ran in breathless, pale, and he was rambling on about what they thought were fantasies. Michael told them to go on an adventure to another world, and then fell dead. His ghost guided the angels, and helped them, until his ghost faded. So, they continue on with all the information that Michael passed on about the world fresh in their minds.
