"I'm not asking as a doctor," I clarify as I start trying to put some space between us.
"Then what're you asking as?" She loosens her grip on my waist, allowing me to step back.
"As someone you're trying to keep alive."
"You just have to trust me, baby," She teases, a smirk growing on her face.
"Stop," I say, firmly, ignoring how the pet name makes me feel.
"Why?" She asks as she steps towards me and I back up.
"You have a lot of questions tonight."
"So do you," She counters, backing me up against my door. She rests her forearm above my head, leaning down. "If you cave, I'll tell you exactly what happened to my hands."
"Cave?" I ask, feigning confusion. I know exactly what she's talking about.
She only hums before her other hand drifts to the waistband of my pants. I try to control my breathing as she runs her fingers along the inside of it, almost absentmindedly.
