Species abound on Earth. Yet two rule its surface: humans and werewolves. Each hunting the other. Both civilizations believing in their own righteousness, in their right to smite the members of the other specie like inferior beasts or to devour them like animals. This conflict, no doubt, unfurls in the shadows of societies around the world, unseen and never spoken of.
As the 1930s creep ever closer, Gregor, heir of the illustrious and infamous Beaufort bloodline, attends the debutante ball of one of his classmates. He has ulterior motives concerning Darlene Seth, the beautiful young woman at the center of the festivities. He is also infatuated with an odd socialite, Victoria Gill, an outsider in all of their classes. Underneath shiny appearances, the three are willingly evolving at the heart of a complex subterfuge. And amidst the guests, naturally, there are hunters.
After all, humans and werewolves share a common taste for death.

Howdy, folks! I rated this story as "MATURE" because it contains triggering subjects, but I believe that an average adult reader should not feel overly shocked by the contents. Namely, there is light swearing, religious devotion with unusual beliefs and violent dogmatic ideals, gore and sexually suggestive content.
DISCLAIMER: All opinions and vocabulary decisions in the narration reflect the point of view of the protagonist, Gregor Beaufort. This story is introspective and delves into HIS life and HIS experiences. As the author, I do not condone his behavior and his beliefs. The way he expresses himself and describes certain situations does not represent my own worldview. This work of art is purely fictional.
This story, like all of my werewolf short stories and novels on this platform (Wattpad), belongs to a realm of werewolf lore that is entirely my own creation. I own the rights to every character and storyline within this story.
