*WARNING* If you haven't read Book I, please read it before this one! (y/n)'s out of the maze, or so she thought. Memories of the past come back to her in her sleep. When she wakes up in a strange, unfamiliar place far from the maze, she's instantly skeptical of her surroundings, from the armed guards to how off limits the place is. She might be out of the maze, but she still feels like she's imprisoned. Thrust into the scorch, more memories come to her every time she closes her eyes. Even then she can't tell fact from fiction. Are those her real memories from times past, or are they simply more fictitious stories that WICKED has implanted into her brain? Befuddled by her visions, (y/n) isn't sure which side is right anymore, who to trust. WICKED is good. Might it be after all?

Minho x (y/n) (y/n) wakes up in a rattling cage, unsure of where she is. Devoid of memories, she finds herself in surrounded by only boys in a vast green area. The glade. She's just another part of Wicked's cruel game, sent up there to confuse the test subjects so that Wicked can track and examine the new brain activity and the killzone patterns produced from all the gladers currently in the maze. But who is she? So many questions, but no answers... yet. This will follow mainly the movies, but I'm going to make some things different to fit in the storyline more. Oc character (reader) x Minho It took me a little while to figure out love interest but Minho storyline develops pretty early on. This story has added characters and doesn't follow the exact storyline of the original maze runner book. The story does not include teresa. All original characters belong to James Dashner ... The Box wasn't supposed to send up a girl. But it did. Liora wakes up to darkness and movement, her heart slamming against her ribs before she even knows her own name. The lift jerks to a stop, light floods in. And when she's dragged out into the open air, she's met with one thing- Boys. Dozens of them. Staring. She doesn't remember who she is. She doesn't know where she is. All she knows is that every pair of eyes in the Glade is locked on her. As time progresses, and a startling disruption in Liora's exploration of the glade snaps her into reality, Minho proves to be the boy she finds herself attached to. Marcie was the first girl to arrive in the maze full of boys, a glitch in the system was what was assumed until another girl came up, however that was also when the end was declared and the entire life that she remembered was turned upside down. She travels from the Glade through to the last city dealing with death, a deadly virus, a possible cure and love.
