It's my take on what was going on with Owen BEFORE the actually vsmp stuff and I REALLY wanted to write that so here- A fanfiction about Owen's backstory. :D

Martyn was born blind and has always relied heavily on his hearing to navigate and understand the world around him. He walks with a cane, and his eyes are always closed-he doesn't even know what color they are, nor has he ever thought to ask. For him, the world has always been cloaked in darkness. That began to change when he discovered a small spark of magic within himself. With time and practice, he learned to use it to "paint" mental images of people and places in his mind. Through subtle differences in tone, mood, and cadence, he could distinguish colors-hearing the warmth of a sunset in a laugh, or the chill of blue in a hushed whisper. Over the years, he also honed his ability to read body language-not through sight, but through sound. The shifting of feet, the rhythm of someone's breath, the way fabric brushed against itself as someone turned-all of it became a symphony of cues that told him what others could see with their eyes. Martyn often kept to himself, sitting quietly in the corner of a room with a Braille book in his hands, lost in the raised dots beneath his fingers. Most people didn't approach him. Whether it was discomfort or uncertainty, he had grown used to being left alone. But that all changed the day a new transfer student joined the theater program. Curious and unafraid, they noticed Martyn sitting by himself and, rather than shy away, felt drawn to him. For the first time in a long while, Martyn's quiet world began to shift-not just with sound and magic, but with the unexpected rhythm of connection.

After the tragic loss of his husband, Scott is given a fresh start. As Empires starts, he makes it his mission to avoid Jimmy as much as possible. He worries that Jimmy hates him for not being able to save him during the 3rd life battle. All Jimmy wants to do is see Scott, but every time they make eye contact, Scott turns away quickly and leaves. Jimmy can't figure out why Scott's avoiding him and tries to talk to him. He starts to loose hope, but something happens that changes his mind. Could this be the beginning of something new? Or the end of something old? ___________________________________________________________ This story is set in the Empires SMP in a world where Xornoth isn't a part of it. ~Disclaimer~ I do not own any of these characters. Ren walks towards the thrown his father sits upon. The glamour concealed axe in his hands weighs heavy in his grip. He stops next to his father's thrown, his smaller one next to it. Ren's eyes catch that or Martyn's blue from where the blond stands in the crowd in the thrown room. Martyn nods and Ren looks back towards his father, dropping the his glamour on the axe. He swings the axe, chopping the head off his father's head, continuing generations of sons killing their fathers for the thrown. Blood sprays his face, he lets go of the axe now lodged in the back of the thrown. He pulls the crown off the king's body-less head, "THE RED KING HAS FALLEN!" or, Martyn and Ren, one human, one dog hybrid with royal status. How will they navigate their world with their unusual love.
