Sans knows a lot about secrets; he hides many. But when old burdens emerge from the darkness, secrets, new and old, put his brother in danger; and what else can a good big-bro do but begin a double life? This decision haunts him, even years after his suit of armor is stocked away and hidden, after his quaint life of depression, puns and resets are set to loop forever, and his part in the war is forgotten... But then, the barrier is broken. And it is quickly realized that this is not the end, but a beginning of something new. Something that feels like dust, blood, and a suit of armor; an old lie to slip into once more. (Currently being completely overhauled! Anything without a chapter title (ex.: chapter 4, chapter 5, etc.) is old and will be re-written!)

Our beloved Monsters live at the surface for almost a year now. As Christmas time begins, they are all overwhelmed by the festivity and happiness this time of the year brings to everyone. And monsters realize: it's been a long time since they celebrated a family festival under the stars. This is basically a small collection of one-shots that play in the same universe. It will work like an Advent calendar, which means there will (hopefully) be one chapter per day , until it's Christmas eve. Please understand that I am not a native English speaker, so if you find any grammatical errors or typos just point them out to me. I will gladly correct them and learn for the future.

(This is the rewrite/newer version of 'Healing What Has Been Broken'. I do not own Undertale, the characters, or the cover - they belong to their respectful owners and JuneTheTrickster made the art based off of my new design for Erratum. I only own my versions of the characters, OC's, and this story.) Error, the Forced God of Destruction and Destroyer of Universes, formed by Fate and left to be the Multiverse's scapegoat. Ink, God of Creation and Creator of the Multiverse, created by Fate and the most loved out of the Multiverse. Yin and Yang, two sides of the Multiverse's balance. Without creation, the Multiverse would be empty. Without destruction, the Multiverse would become overcrowded and destroy itself. Neither side inherently good or bad, both sides that should work together to stabilize the Multiverse. Should. Yet, Error was so tired. Tired of the pain, the hurt, the betrayal, the endless cycle that seemed to go on forever. Where he was the villain, the insane Monster with no feelings, wants, needs or desires and Ink was the hero, the one that everyone looked up to and loved for 'protecting' them. Fate would not allow him to die. Forcing him into playing a role that he has grown tired of and hate. But, one day, Error had been able to take his fate and change it - making it into his destiny. Landing in this new Multiverse, the impossible became possible. Too bad his own Multiverse found him and wanted to ruin it all for him. Yet, this new Multiverse wouldn't give up Error without causing and fighting a war for him. Much to Error's shock. There was a reason Destiny chose this Multiverse for Error to land into. Healing might take some time, Fate might still be a issue, and it might be different from any other Multiverse, but it is more than willing to fight for one of their's. Error's old Multiverse is in for a ride once they find him, because this new Multiverse is more than a little blood hungry. Unstable Multiverse, meet Warverse.

Ever since the barrier was broken and monsters rose to the surface once more, it seemed like despite the odd reception that they received from the Humans of Ebott, everything was starting to take a turn for the better. But almost a year later, the others couldn't help but notice something different...specifically...SANS was different. The usual laid-back, wise-cracking skeleton was acting...strange. His smile was forced, he didn't tell jokes, he's deprived of sleep, and the demons that were thought to have been put to bed ages ago keep rising back to the surface to torment him.
