Falling into a world, where monsters only care about killing all humans, Frisk has to try and escape. But with barely any friends, and with each death comes a new flower growing on them, they find that this wish is much more difficult than they thought. But, what happens when their determination becomes to much for only one person to hold? (This is a Frisk x Chara fanfic, the are both agender and will be referred to with they/them pronouns. This is using the Flowerfell AU, which is a combination of two different AUs; Flowertale: which is when every time Frisk dies, a golden flower blooms somewhere on their body, and Underfell: which is that all the monsters are more set on killing Frisk instead of mercy, and it's much harder to survive, and Flowey is actually kind and helps Frisk. Hello! In honor of Underverse 0.8 part 1 coming out and Jakei's year and a half hiatus, I am going to (try to) do this thing I will be calling "Weekly Underverse" where I update weekly with some sort of Underverse related content. It's not going to be anything big. Some weeks it will be a 3,000 word Cross fic, maybe a digital drawing I worked on for 5 hours. Other weeks might be as small as a snippet of a poem that was inspired by an Underverse thing, or a little doodle I did in my notes packet. It may even be recycled content I have posted outside of this project. But whatever it is, I will try to update it weekly until the hiatus is over. Weekly Underverse starts today, November 20, 2024. Dream always felt the weight of expectations on his shoulders and they've only grown worse now that he's a Star Sans. Save this AU, rescue that person, stop Nightmare over there, and make X person smile! It's a never-ending cycle of tasks and he gets asked more about why he hasn't done it sooner or defeated his brother yet than thanked for what he accomplished. He feels trapped in this position and doubts if he didn't have his positive aura that anyone would care for him. Most like him for the joy he brings or what he can give them. Nobody around him ever feels genuine without a doubt in his head. Add in the stress of protecting one Star Sans(Swap) and keeping the other(Ink) from starting trouble and you have a positive guardian ready to break under expectations. Then you have Error, the destroyer of AUs. His reputation speaks for himself and builds all the expectations he needs whenever he steps foot into another AU. He's as bad an omen as a black cat crossing your path. Others assume he is bad because of his "freakish" or glitching appearance. He has accepted these but it gets tiring when he already has the voices bossing him around or Fate reminding him that he should do more destruction. But he doesn't limit himself to destruction. He watches UnderNovela, admires the stars, and appreciates what he can. He pushes the limits of what is expected of him or disregards them completely. A trait that Dream eventually finds himself admiring in him, the known enemy of his friend. He knows that Error's feelings are genuine since he doesn't change in his presence(still an angry manchild). So when Dream gets wounded and stuck with Error on a whim, where will it take them? Will it be a mistake remaining in a hatred of enemies or will it change them both for the better? Could this admiration open Error up to corrupting Dream or will he be the influence Dream needs to against expectations and live for himself?
