Hermione has just turned 18 when she was kidnapped by death eaters. The war had ended and leftover loyalists of Voldemort were angry. Months after she escaped and started her last year at Hogwarts, she found out she was pregnant. All the teachers wanted her to get rid of the baby, except one.

Hermione didn't know what to expect when she went back to Hogwarts. All she knew was that the new Headmistress McGonagall had sent for her to help restore the school. She knew that she had saved Severus Snape from death near the end of the terrible Wizarding War, but only she and those currently at Hogwarts knows that Snape is alive. When Hermione finds that she must work with the Potions teacher once again, she is shocked. She had just graduated, how on Earth could she be a professor already? She invites her once adversary but now friend Draco to stay for the weekend and he brings along his Godfather Severus whom she's not seen since he was exonerated from war crimes and taken to hospital after his near death experience at the hands of Voldemort's snake Nagini. Out walking one day the pair come across Hermione's parents living in a cottage on a hillside. This wouldn't have been so odd but Hermione had witnessed her parents death at the end of the war. Her and Severus, with the help of Harry and Draco need to find out who these people really are and what's going on. Dum dum dummmmmm.
