The day is November 16th. It's been that day for a while. Every time Sage wakes up, the clock reads the same - Exactly 8:19 in the morning. She has ten hours and thirteen minutes. Ten hours and thirteen minutes to fail over and over again as that dreaded day, that damning anniversary of November 16th, folds in on itself like paper, creased and worn into an origami swan of failure upon failure every time the clock strikes 6:32 PM. Caught in a cycle that feels both endless and far too short, Sage must find a way to pay her dues to her past, lest she be consumed by a monster built from its remains - But grief ignored and denied always finds a way to claw itself back from the grave. Love can make people do terrible things, and Sage will learn firsthand just what kind of atrocities can spawn from it.

These girlfailures definitely aren't the best pick to be magical girls, but alas, fate has a sense of humor even in the midst of a god-killing apocalypse. Inspired by Madoka Magica and OMORI. When sickening mockeries of divinity arise to cannibalize the gods, a group of five very troubled girls are thrown head-first into a nightmarish apocalypse. In order to stop the world from ending in a sea of gore, they'll have to manage their own problems and defeat versions of themselves they never knew existed, all the while learning the cost of their powers, the reality of the world they live in, and just how truly impossible some decisions can seem. Power in the wrong hands can be a truly terrifying thing. It can break the unbreakable, raze the immoveable, tear hearts out of chests, and teach the ones who think they're unkillable what it really means to die.

Carrion is a hot-headed, violent girl indoctrinated long ago into a violent game where the competitors brutalize each other in an infinite arena for the entertainment of the masses - Who remain unknowing of the horrors beneath it, as all they see is a sanitized e-sport. Once she meets the man behind it all, after a seemingly unimportant bit of banter lets her grow just barely attached to the people she once saw as enemies and competitors, once she realizes the true horror of it all, she swears to tear it all down. Her environment is not kind. Her adversaries are even worse, and even the bystanders have it out for her head, as she's the highest-ranking Paladin in the Games - The most perfect, the strongest, the most useful that they all strive to be. The only way to win is to be even stronger than that. Even more perfect. A single mistake could lead to a horrible death. It's a dog-eat-dog world out there.

A game this psychologically tormenting could only be made by someone equally tormented, and that's exactly what was standing before Salem when he first awoke in that barred cell, in a lonely cabin, locked away in a twisted escape room in the middle of nowhere with only that tortured soul as company. Forced into a twisted death game to save his life, Salem must gamble smart and effectively to defeat his infatuated kidnapper in her own game or die trying as the perfect specimen for Pasithea's hypothesis and search for the one true fear. These two are more alike than they could ever imagine, and equally more different - And the two of them will grapple with what that means and how it affects them constantly, as their game twists into their own heads, until reality is indistinguishable from dream and they navigate shared hallucinations and mutual nightmares. Inspired by Inscryption, SAW, and Drunken Goddess Reflux.
