The Stranger Things finale marks a dark day for Byler shippers...so here's how I imagined Byler's life moving forward after the ending. English isn't my first language, pls be kind. The story is picking up in summer, 1 year after the party graduated. It's written mainly in Mike's pov, but alternating between different pov's from time to time. I have put together a playlist you can listen to while reading the chapters. The reading time and song lenght doesn't line up, but feel free to check out the songs! When Mike goes to California to surprise Will and El for spring break he instead discovers things about himself. As a teenager the struggle between love and friendship is so hard to find. Especially if your true love is your best friend... Contains some language, homophobic language in the chapter "bad dreams again" (This story takes place with no vecnea in Hawkins or need for El to have powers.)
