Long before Lloyd Garmadon was born, before the Serpentine Wars and before the rise of the Green Ninja, a secret existed that nobody knew. Not even Garmadon. Not even Wu.Not even Lloyd himself. After the First Spinjitzu Master's passing, the ancient battle between Light and Darkness continued. Long ago, the Overlord had a wife, a being of darkness like himself. But during a war for power, she was destroyed. Since then, he had ruled alone. The Overlord stood alone within the endless darkness of his fortress. Purple lightning crawled across the walls as hatred radiated from him. The Overlord then created Darkness, hatred, revenge, and demonic Oni energy swirled together into a massive sphere of purple and black light. The sphere slowly transformed into a tiny infant and that infant is Lloyd.

Lloyd and Kai are particularly close however this is NOT a Greenflame fanfic. Nya is also like a sister to Lloyd. Garmadon and Lloyd's relationship is just (if not more) as strained as it is in Crystallized, Misako does appear later on but is mostly absent.

This is a Ninjago story about 16 year old Lloyd that can't take it anymore from the bullying he gets at school and the hate from the Ninjago citizens . So Lloyd runs away from home and is now missing. The ninja go crazy finding him. Especially Kai and Nya. (NOT MY ART!!)
