Semolina Smallburrows of Sandydowns is not your ordinary hobbit. She is only half. The other half is of elvish blood. An old romance between Semolina's mother and father led to her creation, and here she is. She has always lived with her mother in The Shire, but when her immortal father suddenly comes and claims her, she travels past boarders she has never known before ending the travel in Rivendell. Life there is certainly not bad, yet she does not stay for long, for Frodo Baggins is to lead The One Ring to Mordor and he needs a fellowship. Always wanting to have a taste of adventure, Semolina signs up for it straight away, and that is where the biggest journey begins. Can she survive the tough times of war? Does she truly belong amongst the elves? Or the hobbits? And how about the feelings she develops for Legolas Greenleaf, the handsome elf prince? Which traits has she inherited from the hobbits and elves, and which has she not? [IMPORTANT: This story goes as the movies go. Therefore years do not pass before Frodo heads out on an adventure. An Elleth named Alvena Baggins has grown up with Bilbo Baggins. Her whole life believing she was an unusual and strange Hobbit. Alvena is tired of the relaxed life in the Shire with Bilbo, she craved for real adventure other than the errands her relatives and neighbors send her on which was only running to the other side of the Shire, She was tired of just jumping over the small fences of the shire she wanted to jump over boulders and waterfalls, she was tired of riding ponies she wanted to ride a war steed. Alvena wanted everything a warrior could get. Even though she never used or touched a single weapon in her whole life except for a shovel she imagined to be a sword. Alvena's wish was about to happen when one faithful day Gandalf the Grey stops by with some strange dwarves and offers Bilbo an Adventure of a lifetime. Alvena dreamed of going thus she made a deal with the dwarves and Gandalf that if she persuaded Bilbo to come then she could also come with them. When Alvena gets the Journey she always dreamed of she never imagined she would go through hardships, painful experiences and breath taking moments and most of all she didn't imagine she would fall in love. but would he love her back? And lastly would Alvena know who she truly is or will she only know herself as Alvena Baggins the unusual and strange Hobbit? Disclaimer: I do not own any of the works of JRR Tolkien.
