These events take place immediately following the fateful events of episode 3x07. I wanted to rewrite the ending of Clexa (or non-ending in this case) to make up for what was ruined. They deserved a much longer, more fulfilling story. In this story, Lexa survives her fate! But how long will the two stay safe? And will their love have time to flourish in a time of uncertainty? After Mount Weather, Clarke Griffin can't bring herself to walk through the gates of Arkadia. For months, she wanders through the wilderness, tortured by the repercussions of the decisions she has made and haunted by the lives she has taken, and, in her final form of penance, she takes her own. Greeted by Death himself, he informs her of a soon to occur extinction-level event, one he calls Praimfaya, and he tells her that she is the only one who can save humanity.
