Anna is the kind of girl people look straight through. At school, on the bus, at home - she exists quietly in the background, where asking for anything comes with a price she learned long ago to stop paying. Even with her best friend, Alice, she never fully steps into the world. She just survives it, carefully and without being noticed. Her life was supposed to stay bland, colourless, manageable. Nothing was supposed to change that. Then she runs into Sophie. And something shifts - not all at once, and not enough to understand, but just enough that it doesn't stop. Anna finds herself pulled toward something she can't name, something her body recognises before her mind can catch up. And the worst part is, she doesn't want it to stop. .

EVERYONE THEY TOUCH DIES - EXCEPT EACH OTHER. For 423 years, Libby has been a walking biohazard: one accidental brush of skin and it's game over. Now she's the world's oldest virgin, a shut-in, and a not-so secret romantic who spends her nights writing about the experiences she can never have firsthand. But she isn't alone. For centuries, a robed figure has watched her from the edges of history. Libby assumed he was a hallucination, a coping mechanism for a mind fractured by four centuries of solitude. Then one night he slid into her DMs. And after four centuries of living without a single IRL connection, Libby is ready to be touched by a Reaper - whatever the cost. NOTE: This story is one of my Wattpad ONC 2026 entries. I wrote it in response to Prompt 114: "An immortal being, worn down by centuries and cursed so that anyone they touch dies, starts searching for a way to finally end their endless life. But Death, who has grown possessive and infatuated with them, refuses to let them go." ⚠️ TW: death, dirty language, sexual content, suicidal ideation.

Delilah Daine is the most ordinary girl in existence. At least that's what she wants everyone to believe desperately. After spending years in a residential treatment center as a pre-teen, she wants to be normal and fit neatly into the popular mold society creates for girls her age. She has a social media account, so she isn't considered too closed off, but she only posts nature photos and shares cute animal videos. She works as a librarian surrounded by people every day, but after work, she prefers to stay home and be alone. Her carefully curated existence shatters when she receives a letter from someone every doctor insisted never existed - a person who was supposed to be nothing more than a figment of her childhood imagination. Nathaniel Fitzpatrick knows he must leave Europe, especially after spending years caged in a delusional scientist's basement as a test subject. Only one thing keeps him from boarding the ship to America and disappearing for at least a decade - Delilah. A talkative little girl who once showed him he shouldn't spend the rest of eternity hidden in dark caves, only coming out for food. He decided weeks ago it would be best to write her a thank-you note before his departure and forget about her, the way he assumes she forgot about him. But now that it's time to board, he realizes a simple letter isn't enough. He needs to know if she's even alive and what kind of person she has grown into during the years he was imprisoned. People change, and he has to find out whether the only good person he has ever met managed to retain her kindness and compassion - or if she lost that battle the moment she grew up, the way most humans usually do.

In the Kingdom of Erianon, the seasons influence the magic of its spell casters. Every year a spell caster's power is strengthened by its root season. But what happens when Spring suddenly disappears from the land? The freezing Winter immediately turns into bitter, hot Summer at the vernal equinox. And the spell casters with the elemental abilities of Hydrokinesis, Chlorokinesis and Photokinesis become weaker with every passing year with no Spring. No one knows why or how Spring went missing. Some began to believe that a curse was placed on the kingdom. While others believe that the goddess of Spring, Aviva, was kidnapped by an evil spirit or captured by the other gods due to jealousy. Whatever the cause of Spring's disappearance, what is certain is that the Summer and Winter-bound spell casters increase exponentially in power while the Spring-bound weaken and become bullied outcasts. There is imbalance throughout Erianon. Natural births decline, diseases run rampant through the vulnerable, water is contaminated, and food storages dwindle. After 5 years without Spring, tensions are rising within the kingdom. Protesters flock to the King's court, and under his declining reputation and the pressure of the people, he is left with no choice but to hope the rumors are true and Spring can be restored if Aviva is found. For this task, he will assemble a party of only the strongest and wisest spell casters to send on a quest and solve the most enigmatic mystery in recent history: What happened to Spring? It will be up to the 6 spell casters recruited to restore the missing season and bring back balance or face the wrath of the King if they return with no answers. Who will be named the King's heroes? And will they succeed in this impossible journey?
