Welcome, fellow writers! I host monthly contests as a way to support the writing community. All are welcome to participate no matter what stage of your writing journey you are on. These contests take place across multiple platforms (Neobook, Booksie, Wattpad, and Underground Bookshelf). Winners are invited to have their work featured on Underground Bookshelf. You can learn more about UB at https://www.underground-bookshelf.com/ (As of writing this, the Neobook website and app have been down for several weeks, so it is best to submit through Underground Bookshelf, Wattpad, or Booksie.) If you are a winner of one of the monthly contests, please make sure I have your bio, the name you would like to be credited under, pronouns, and content warnings (if applicable). This will help me when I go to feature your piece on Underground Bookshelf. Please visit the chapter dedicated to the month/prompt you are submitting to for rules and deadlines. Depending on the prompt, the contest may be open to poetry, short stories, flash/microfiction, first chapters, excerpts, short memoirs, or a combination of several. Please also refrain from submitting fanfiction (for copyright reasons) and work containing egregious violence or sex (I'm not set up for age restrictions on Underground Bookshelf). To submit your work, drop the link and title in the comment section of the contest/chapter you are participating in.
